I have been a photographer all my life. My first camera was an Argus 35 (known fondly as the “Brick”). Actually, it was my mother’s, but she let me use it. In those days, I thought a perfect photo was one that looked most like a post card. Today, I have a different focus. I try to capture a mood as well as a subject, and I love to photograph people. Paraphrasing a famous photographer, photographers don’t make beautiful images; when successful, we just capture the beauty in what we photograph. I believe that.

If you would like to buy one of these photos, you may contact me. Be sure you say “photo purchase” on the subject line of your email, or it is likely to be deleted.
